FAQ
How many photos will I receive?
This depends on your session length. With a mini session we guarantee a minimum of 25 photos. Hour sessions typically receive approximately 100 photos.
Can I order prints?
Yes! You'll be able to order high quality professional prints from the online gallery. The prints can be picked up at our home or delivered to you or the purchaser for a small shipping fee. You'll also receive a print release with your photos so that you have the ability to order prints from any company of your choice.
How is my session delivered to me?
All sessions are delivered through an online gallery within 14 days, sometimes sooner. You will receive a download pin to retrieve all the high-resolution images and print release. All final images are edited and beautified.
Where will my session be?
We have a handful of places we love to shoot at and are happy to suggest. We love when our clients have ideas for locations as well. Please don't ever hesitate to suggest a new place.
How should we dress for our family session?
Choose your color palette
I always suggest choosing 3-5 colors to work with. Neutrals and soft colors are the easiest to style cohesively.
Find one outfit you love and build the rest of the families outfits from there. If you have a patterned outfit you have chosen, you can pull colors from the pattern for other family members outfits. It’s also wise to think about where you will be displaying these photos in your home, will the backdrop and your clothing colors match in nicely with your home decor?
Add some texture
It looks so good when families add textured clothing to their styling, think knit or waffle fabrics, linen, corduroy, lace etc. Adding texture just adds interest and depth to your photos,
Comfort is a must:
Ultimately wearing clothing you feel comfortable and beautiful in will be best. It will make you shine that little bit more during your shoot.
Things to avoid:
Clothing which has large graphics or brand name logos on it. These will date, they will stand out and be distracting in your photos. Always good to avoid neon colors and loud prints as well.
